The company announced on June 2, a day in advance of the current roll-out that Google has updated a large core algorithm.

In the next few months, you can certainly see several post mortem analyzes with insights into what can be needed for the retrofitting of the algorithm.

After a number of websites have recovered from the key algorithm updates of Google, I share the four common problems when customers are looking for assistance with an algorithm penalty.

One important thing we have observed with core algorithm updates since Google’s March 7, 2017, “Fred” update is that they appear to increase criteria in the four key areas of the algorithm.

That modification of the algorithm seems to expand the noose a little further and finally lead to places that have been good for years.

Content Management Systems such as WordPress provide convenient navigation features to create a wide range of pages that have a low word count.

Since Google first updates Panda, however, it seems that pages with more words on them are the preferred search algorithms.

We’ll sometimes fight in the rankings on web sites with a higher percentage of pages with small word counts.

While longer content is not always correlated with better content, it is difficult for great content to be less than 200 words.

We scan your site for pages with low words or “thin” content if a client comes to us. Deleting these problematic pages can often lead to significant increases in the ranking.

The easiest way to find troublesome sites is to use a basic WordPress plug-in. These pages are available instantly for all other sites, website crawler, and website auditing tools. Furthermore, by searching Google operators on “site: domain.com” you can find some odd door pages or pages with image attachment that Google might have error-indexed.

User’s demand speed from Bloated Site Design and Google Search algorithms’ updates are challenging websites with huge images–and pages can be loaded more lengthily–and provide a poor user experience.

If the competing website provides a faster and better experience, the bloated website will probably struggle to place the search engine consistently.

Trim your pages so that every page is loaded in less than five seconds to remedy this.

The speed of the site is seldom a problem alone. Aggressive advertising was also cited as a potentially negative ranking, as reported by Search Engine Land.

Over-optimized Pages Keyword usage is one of the first things we verify after updating an algorithm, and we have constantly noticed that over-optimized websites–those using a high number of keywords–tend to move fewer search rankings, and more conservatively optimized sites tend to move upwards in successive algorithm updates.

We don’t want to focus too much on keywords. But the importance of your page to algorithms can be illustrated through keywords.

Therefore, it has been an excellent way to recover from algorithmic penalties to assess problem pages to measure their keyword density.

By matching the page’s keyword density with that of Google’s three top sites, you can get a clear idea of how many keywords should be used on each website.

Poor quality backlinks It is likely that your page has still accumulated several backlinks although you have never been interested in linking construction.

Backlinks are Google’s first ratings and still play a major role. If your website has many low-quality “neighborhoods” backlinks, your site may not do so after your core algorithm updates.

Whilst we’re not denying so many of the files as usual (by using the Google tool page to upload a list of harmful backlinks), we can still see the effect on websites of poor quality.

You can see which sites link to you via the tools of Google Webmasters and third-party backlink checks. Review these sites–how they relate to your site?

Also, look for indications that Google’s recommended guidelines may be violated on these sites. Sites that do not rank well (or are not indexed) in Google should be approached with caution as Google may have a problem with the site’s quality.

Ideally, your backlinks will prove good traffic from connected sites (i.e. sites with many social shares).

The best defense against poor quality backlinks is getting high-end backlinks–even better than trying to denounce low-quality links.

Find partnerships with related websites and blogs, and find ways to work together to provide their readers with useful content, in exchange for your visibility.

While we see many high-level websites that have received rewards after Google updates its algorithms, we still see the algorithms as fewer rewards of simple errors.

Sites can recover from algorithms by optimizing their pages and creating more domain control— or a better reputation online. The keys to finding software changes are attention to detail and a framework of regular enhancements.
